- Bad Moonz Clan: Orks quite sensibly use their
- teeth as currency, and as the Bad Moonzí teeth grow
- faster than anyone elseís, it is the richest of all ork
- clans. The other Orks donít see this as an unfair
- advantage; after all, if you are hard enough you can
- always bash a Bad Moon on the head and steal his
- teeth. Bad Moonz have expensive and effective
- weapons, wear the best and most elaborate armor,
- and flaunt the most gaudy and colorful clothes.
-
- Battlewagon: The orks load as many troops as they
- can on a battlewagon (generally fifteen) and send it
- hurdling into battle. It has only light armor, and
- generally fires an autocannon, but it plays an
- instrumental role in getting as many orks into the
- fight as quickly as possible.
-
- Bikeboyz: All orks enjoy speed and loud
- explosions, and those who ride the bikes have a
- chance to enjoy both. His bike may not have any
- armor, but anything in a Bikeboyz way is in trouble.
-
- Bonebreaka: This heavy tank mounts a
- battlecannon in the turret and a spiked Deathroller
- in front. Infantry it fails to blow up it just rolls over.
-
- Bonecruncha: A variant of the Bonebreaka, it
- mounts twin autocannons instead of a single
- battlecannon.
-
- Bowelburna: The Evil Sunz put together this thinly
- armored but wickedly fast battle buggy. It sports a
- Scorcher which belches out a torrent of flame
- perfect for sending hummies running from their
- cover.
-
- Evil Sunz Clan: Fast vehicles and loud noises
- attract all orks, but members of the Evil Sunz have
- an especially strong fixation on these goodies. They
- roar into battle on their Warbikes and buggies,
- firing and yelling all the way.
-
- Gibletgrinda Battle Fortress: This towering tank
- bristles with weapons, and five autocannons stick
- out of its turrets. It also features a spiked
- Deathroller on front, and the Nob commanding a
- Gibletgrinda likes nothing better than to run down
- as many enemies as possible.
-
- Gobsmasha: Evil Sunz Wildboyz crew these
- blocky war buggies, which sport better armor and
- autocannon than most buggies. A hoary old Ork
- veteran fires the gun and watches the Wildboyz
- jump around and try to grab the steering wheel out
- of each otherís hands.
-
- Goff Clan: The fiercest Orks, Goffs prefer close-
- quarter fighting and have little patience for complex
- strategies or tactics. They have a reputation for
- being the biggest, ugliest, meanest and most
- ferocious Orks æ which is saying something.
-
- Great Gargant: Nobody wonders why the presence
- of a Great Gargant can inspire orks to such feats of
- bravery. With its Magnum Mega Cannon, two
- Scorcher turrets and Gutbuster cannon, the Great
- Gargant would be fierce enough. Add to that an
- inspiring Gork head and its dreaded Gaze of Gork,
- and you have a monument to orky cleverness. A
- large number of power shields complement its thick
- armor, attached by rivets the size of a human arm.
-
- Gretchin: Smaller than Orks, the Gretchin take on
- the most degrading jobs in Ork society. They stoke
- the Gargant boilers, unjam bolters, and clean the
- latrines after parties. They also field their own
- mobs, using whatever weapons they can scrounge.
-
- Gutrippa: The Goffs are the only Orks who use the
- Gutrippa, but they love the way it works in close
- combat. It has the traditional battlecannon and thick
- armor of most Ork tanks, but it also sports two great
- claws for tearing into its enemy at close range.
-
- Lungbursta: The Goff Clan builds and fields the
- Lungbursta, a particularly well-armored and sturdy
- Ork battle tank. They attach a great deal of armor to
- its boxy exterior, and its block turret houses a
- powerful battlecannon.
-
- Madboyz: Some Madboyz are geniuses. Others are
- certifiably insane. All are wildly unpredictable, as
- likely to believe they have superpowers as to want
- to run and hide. They fight as well as other orks æ
- whenever they want to fight.
-
- Mega-Gargant: These immense monuments to the
- two great ork gods, Gork and Mork, represent the
- height of orkish ingenuity. They mount an
- incredible array of bizarre but deadly weaponry.
- Most prominent of these weapons are Da Big
- Lobba, the Weirdboy Tower and two Krooz
- Missuls. Mounted in back are the Mekboy Deth Ray
- and Super Lifta Dropper. Opponents should not just
- concentrate on these weapons, however. The Mega-
- Gargantís Skullcrasher Mega-Cannon, Krusher
- Arm, eight gun decks and five gun turrets can be
- equally devastating. For protection it has incredibly
- thick armor and a huge number of power shields.
-
- Mekboy Bubble Chukka Speedsta: The ultimate
- in Ork technology and ingenuity (yeah, I know
- Andy will probably make us take that line out æ I
- just thought it should be there for a little while), the
- Bubble Chukka uses forcefields for both offense
- and defense. It fires its invisible fields at vehicles or
- Titans, and neither the Orks nor their targets now
- whether they have worked æ until the target tries to
- fire. If the shot ricochets off the invisible forcefield
- and blows up its firer, then the Bubble Chukka
- worked.
-
- Mekboy Dragster: These stripped down Speedstas
- inevitably confound the Orksí enemies. It has no
- obvious weapons and almost always races to the
- front of the battle. As soon as someone shoots at it,
- things go crazy. Attacks that donít penetrate its
- invisible deflector shield go spinning in random
- directions, sometimes killing the one who fired it!
-
- Mekboy Gargant: Each Gargant is a unique
- creation, designed at the whim of its head Mekboy,
- but Mekboy Gargants are especially varied. The
- Mekboyz slap together whatever odds and ends they
- can scrounge about to create these monstrosities,
- and their opponents should always expect surprises
- out of these smallest Gargants.
-
- Mekboy Lifta Droppa Speedsta: This Speedsta
- uses traktor beams to both destroy its enemies and
- make them look silly at the same time. They use
- these beams to pick up enemy vehicles, move them
- around while their victims scream helplessly, and
- then drop them wherever they please. This often
- concludes with one enemy tank hurtling down on
- another.
-
- Mekboy Speedsta: Mekboyz tinker with
- everything they get their mitts on, and nowhere is
- this more true than in their speedstas. No one can be
- sure how effective a Speedsta will be æ not even
- the Mekboy who made it. Its engine, shields and
- weapons vary from battle to battle and even from
- moment to moment.
-
- Mekboyz: The Mekboyzí innate ability with
- gadgets amazes everyone æ including the
- Mekboyz. They create the fantastic array of
- weapons and vehicles the orks take into battle, build
- the mighty Gargants and then have the thankless
- task of trying to keep them all working.
-
- Nobz Warbike: Nobz who want the ultimate in
- personal transport opt for the warbike and go
- roaring into the center of the action. They sit a
- trustworthy Ork in front to drive, leaving the Nob
- free to yell and fire the bikeís twin bolters.
-
- Nobz: The Ork nobility, Nobz take the best
- equipment available for themselves and their
- bodyguards. They command the mobs in and out of
- the field, and the most powerful Nob takes the title
- Warboss or Warlord.
-
- Pulsa Rokkit: When this rocket falls to the earth,
- no one knows exactly what it might do. Usually it
- creates waves of force that begin pushing and
- crushing everything in its wake. Sometimes the
- rockets blow up with an immense ka-boom,
- destroying everything around them, and other times
- they fizzle and die.
-
- Slasher Gargant: The Slasher Gargant may be
- smaller than a Great Gargant, but it can still inspire
- orks just as much. It has less armor and shield than
- does a Great Gargant, but its kaptains can choose
- from a wide array of weaponry to fit its four gun
- mounts.
-
- Spleen Rippa: Evil Sunz love Spleenrippas more
- than any other battlewagon. They mount the
- shootiest gun the Orks can find and huge throbbing
- engines. The lucky Evil Sunz Ork with one of these
- just grins broadly and roars into battle, leaving the
- envious Boyz to eat his dust.
-
- Stomper: Mekboyz who canít get all the stuff they
- need to build a Gargant often thrown what they do
- have together to make miniature versions called
- Stompers. It only takes a small crew to man its
- battlecannon and four bolters.
-
- Stormboyz: Young Orks have not matured into the
- unrestrained anarchy which rules Ork society. They
- have a childish love of order and structure, and
- organize themselves into effective detachments.
- While their bodies might not have fully developed,
- their love for battle has.
-
- War Buggy: These extremely fast vehicles only
- require two crewmen æ one to drive and one to
- shoot. It usually mounts an autocannon, though
- other heavy weapons can take its place.
-
- Warlord: A single mighty ork leader commands
- the Waa-Ork, fighting alongside a group of loyal
- Nobz from his own household and driving everyone
- else with a combination of threats, rewards and
- brute strength. Each Warboss dreams of the day he
- will bring together great hordes of Orks to bring
- death to his enemies.
-
- Weirdboy Tower: All orks have some psychic
- energy, but some wield this energy with far more
- ability. Weirdboyz ride into battle on top of giant
- towers, and concentrate the power from the orks
- around them into bolts of pure destruction. If they
- donít release this power, they may well blow
- themselves up.
-
- Wild Boyz: These young Orks, new to the marvels
- of Ork Kultur, charge into battle with swords, axes
- and anything else they can find. Those who have
- done well æ and survive æ get a bolter and join the
- ranks of the Boyz Mob.
